Busway closure between St Ives & Swavesey 13 to 15 September
Due to defect correction works the Busway and maintenance track will be closed between St. Ives and Swavesey from midnight on 13 September to 8am on Sunday 15 September 2019.
Holywell Ferry stops will be closed.
Busway closure between Swavesey & Longstanton 30 August to 2 September
Due to defect correction works the Busway and maintenance track will be closed between Swavesey and Longstanton from midnight on 30 August to 5am on 2 September 2019.
Buses will use the commercial services bus stops on Over Road.
Busway closure between Histon & Orchard Park Spur 21 June - 4 November
Due to A14 Bridge works the Busway will be closed between Histon (Cambridge bound stop) & Orchard Park Spur from midnight on 21 June to 5am on 4 November 2019. The Maintenance Track will re-open on 31 August 2019.
Buses inbound towards Cambridge will use the commercial services bus stop on Cambridge Road, Histon (outside Anglia Fireplaces).
Routes B & P will continue down Histon Road, Cambridge calling at the commercial stops near to Kings Hedges Road.
Route A will re-enter the busway at Kings Hedges Road and call at the Orchard Park east and west stops. Passengers will need to board the north stops at these locations to go towards Cambridge and the south side to head towards St Ives.
new route P starts between Central Cambridge, rail station and Addenbrooke's
Starting on Monday 18 February, Whippet will run new route P between Central Cambridge, the rail station and Addenbrooke's hospital. Buses run every 15 minutes all day on Mondays to Fridays - and combined with route U, there are buses every 7-8 minutes between the rail station and Addenbrooke's.
There are also three peak-time buses from Swavesey, Oakington and Histon into Cambridge in the mornings and three returning in the evenings.
